Hotline helps owners who fear foreclosure, an article from The Arizona Republic, reports that the federally funded Arizona Foreclosure Prevention Hotline launched last week and Arizona homeowners are jumping at the chance to receive free borrower-counseling services.
Roberto Armijo, president and CEO of the Community Information & Referral, a non-profit call center chosen by the Arizona Department of Housing to administer the hotline service, said the 24-hour hotline is receiving an average of about 50 calls per day, and he expects the call volume to increase sharply as more people learn about the service.
Residents can reach the hotline at 877-448-1211.
