I took this shot from my backyard at 9:07am on 8/19/03. An unusual morning storm over North Scottsdale and North Phoenix, shot looking East. The rain is beginning to cover the McDowell Mountain Range with a wall of water spread from West of my house to East of the McDowells and moving to the North West. Though this was pure rain, many evenings we get dust storms during the monsoon and they look like this but of course brown in color.
